Eindwerk elektronica-ict, A balancing robot or two-wheeled balancing robot is a robot that has its two supporting wheels placed side by side. In normal conditions, without controller, the robot is dynamically unstable, since the robot has only two supporting points instead of three. The mechanical model for the robot is exactly the same as the one used for the inverted pendulum.
